Superior Scenics has blended some of our stone materials to imitate the appearance of coal.  Authentic coal is very dirty, so we have an cleaner option.  This “imitation coal” similarly has the glossy shine you see in “real coal.”  Choose from different grain sizes to fit the scale you are modeling.  Use as a rail car load or in a mining scene.
